Brent Cummings

Continuing his love of lifelong learning and his commitment to encouraging and teaching older youth, Brent Cummings co-founded FLUX, LLC in 2011. In addition to membership in FLUX, he serves as an after-school educator and the site director for the 21st Century Community Learning Center initiative at Garrison Middle School in Walla Walla, Washington. This program's ongoing success rates, significantly higher than expected, reflect Brent's passion for educating older youth. Brent's unique methodologies and curricula captivate older youth whose intense engagement prepares them for further success.

During the few and brief moments "in-between," Brent enjoys playing basketball, reading, texting, tweeting, and trying to stay connected to older youth through music, video, and the latest trending social media outlet.

Dallas Jones

A man of commitment with a passion for challenging kids about life and education, Dallas has always had a unique gift for engaging and exciting youth.  His life adventures, schooling and experiences bring a broad spectrum of ideas to the classroom and FLUX.  Growing up in Idaho on a ranch he excelled in rodeo while college summers were spent helicopter rappelling and fighting forest fires.  Other outdoor pursuits include, archery shoots, fly fishing and camping with his wife and twin girls.  While in Idaho Dallas taught Physical Education and Government as well as coaching football, wrestling and track.
